  No. A 5-man endgame is five pieces in total, ie. K, R and B
against K and R.

  MCP8 will play perfect 4-man endings as it has all the required
4-man tablebases. However, since it only has a few 5-man tablebases
(KRBKR I think), it can only use them as guidance in a limited number
of these endings. As for MCP8 endgame compared to other programs,
although I have not done any test, I think it is safe to assume that
it can be compared favorably. The only weak spot of MCP8 is that it does
not offer much in terms of database capability.
