It depends, on what you want to complete. Is it Chess960 / FRC?
Are 10x8 variants based on Capablanca's piece set interesting?

It is still under development:

Internal Beta: Smirf-B 0.2.2 (always victorious over WC-2004 Smirf-A 0.5.3)
Internal Test: Smirf-B 0.2.4 (yet killing Smirf-B 0.2.2 in every test match)

A coming reworking of the evaluation function will speed up SMIRF three times.
