Hello Peter,

First mistake. This is a classy *open* event. They should be writing you,
seeking an entry.

Hmmmmmmm.....we have had our differences but it would *never* occur to me that
you would do that. I might even think that you may be tempted to treat Crafty
more harshly because of your admiration for that truly smashing piece of
software.

That is a nonsense. The accusation makes no sense so why compound it?

Show him the credit card charges....

Then show him how much you stand to gain from promoting a freely available
program (with source no less) that is authored by a cranky professor who has no
intention of going commercial.

:-)

Yeah right, take over organising an event with live coverage, web updates,
master level commentary.....

I think you just want to back out and this is a rather despicable way to do it!
Wimp out but do it like a man, say you cannot handle it and quit.

:-)

Peter, thanks from all of us too lazy to even think of doing it but happy that
it is being done. Get busy man, time is a wasting!

Ps. I will resume our conversation about my hardware after the event as you are
understandably busy, what with e-mailing authors of engines too good for this
event.

How is it that I never received an invite? True I do not have an engine to my
name but the chance of insulting you would have made it worth it....

:-)

Good, enough talk. Get the party started!
