Any time you are in a position of leadership, some folks will try to tear you
down. Ignore them.
Personally, I prefer the tournament without commercials. Their authors rarely
show up, and don't contribute to the discussions. The whole point of the CCT
tournaments has been for programmers worldwide to get together and enjoy some
give-and-take in a tournament environment. (I don't like the "assigned
operator" rule, myself. The author should operate and be present throughout.)
Looking at last year's results, one can see that there's a negative incentive
for commercial programs to join.
