In the last few months I have has problems running _any_ Chesspartner engine on
ICC. For some reason the engine just stops playing as it is not being updated by
the interface.
Lex put in a move delay option and no matter what you set it to, the same still
happens. I usually use Gandalf 6, or Shredder 8 in that interface.
I was discussing this on FICS yesterday with someone who had _no_ problems using
CT2004 on FICS and it almost never lost on time. He asked to use my account on
ICC for an evening and I agreed in an experiment. Here are the results:

Not a single game was completed while it was run overnight. All games were flag
losses.
I can run Hiarcs online at ICC for days (in fact I did over the Christmas
holidays) using the Winboard232d adapter and not have a single loss on time,
even in 1 0 games.
Why is there such a problem with the Chesspartner interface? I remember using CT
15 and Shredder 7.04 just fine. With the latest versions though there is an
obvious problem that the patch has not fixed.
Or does anyone have a better solution?

P.S - This "interface" problem is the only reason that I do not own CT2004. Or I
would. I only purchased Gandalf 6 because you can run it in other interfaces
that have no problems.
