And by exactly, I mean in the same ms... that is pretty damn fast for a reply. >To me its clear where the problem is. The delay is just an attempt to >workaround the problem. If this problem happened in _all_ interfaes, then I would say the problem is ICC itself. CP is the _only_ interface with this problem. Arena, Winboard, and Chess Assistant don't seem to have this problem. >Like mentioned before, I have never been able to reproduce the problem myself. >It also seems to happen with a few people. Perhaps they have very fast PC's. >Suggestion for now is to try a even higher delay, something like 500 ms. I am not using a "fast" computer by today's standards. I am using a PIV 2.0Ghz. Surely the CPU speed is not the problem here. Then again I am not in it for the rating points. I like watching the games, conversing with opponents, and modifying books. Just today I was having games with a 1300 rated player just so he can try some openings... it was fun to watch. Even with a "slow" computer compared to the monsters on ICC, I don't limit my forumla to much. I don't have !computer, and I play anything rated within 1200 points rated, anything else can play unrated, and for as long as they want. I would love to get this "problem" fixed. Peter
