I figured it out. If Fritz 5.32 as black has a pawn on the 2d rank which has the option of moving to the 1st rank by moving straight ahead or by capturing,IT WILL ONLY CONSIDER THE CAPTURING MOVE AND WILL NOT CONSIDER MOVING STRAIGHT AHEAD,EVEN IF IT IS MATE.
