well,several of the older dedicated computers could save many games in memory
the Fidelity Premiere and Mephisto Genius modules for example

but none that i know of could save it in pgn format
some of the smaller hand held computers from Novag such  as the  Star Saphhire
can save games to a PC also the Sapphire I and II but i dont know if this is in
PGN format

keep in mind that there is actually only one tournament sized computer that is
even available brand new today ..so i guess we are supposed to be happy even for
that
