Hi all - I ran a few more games, this time under the Shredder Classic interface, and with an interval just to make sure we have no time forfeits. My impression, once again is that Shredder 8 uses time much better (if you count making your moves faster = better) than Shredder 9. But no no time forfeits. And now for the results: TC G/3 min TD/1 sec, S9 vs. S8, 30 games /8 wins /14 draw /8 loss TC G/15 min TD/3 sec, S9 vs. S8, 13 games /1 win / 8 draw / 4 loss So, I have had my fill of this comparison. Time to compete against other engines.
