Here the key move is 29.Rxd5! The idea is that after 29...Rxd5 30.Rc3 Rd8 31.Rc7
the white a-pawn will decide the game (Karpov won it after 29...Rd1 32.Bxb5 e5
33.a7 exf4 34.Rb7 Rb1+ 35.Ka4 Rxb5 36.Rxb5 f3 37.Rb8 f2 38.Rxd8+ 1-0).

Shredder 7 was unable to find the exchange sacrifice on move 29 in twenty
minutes. Shredder 8 plays it in two minutes six seconds.

These examples show us that Shredder 8 profits greatly from the better search
and evaluation function. It is still a very solid program that is extremely
difficult to beat, but it has at the same time become much more dangerous,
especially when it finds an aggressive way to exploit king weaknesses.
