Yes, exactly.  That was before Intel decided to play the numbers game with their
speed ratings.  All hype to appear to the average "Joe" user that their CPUs
were the fastest available.

A trick that will haunt them for some time to come -- especially with their own
Centrinos much faster at lower (realistic) clock speeds.
