This technique works for me ...

Create a batch file in the shredder classic folder called shred.bat with this
text :

start /belownormal Shredder.exe

Then create a shortcut that points to the batch file. The GUI and any engines
will have "belownormal" priority. This should make other windows tasks a bit
more responsive.
