I am a chessbase lover. I have practically all their releases starting Fritz 3 and Chessbase 4, including all opening CDs, playing programs, magazines, EVERYTHING! So pls believe me when I tell you that you should get the Shredder 9 UCI version from shredderchess. Apart from the fact that you can use it also in chessbase, there is one feature in the shredder GUI which chessbase doesn't have - access to an online 6-pc tablebase server with 800 gig worth of tablebases. I checked this out and it really works - I had been looking for KNPP vs KN for some time now, and it was only under this online service that I managed to finally find the truth about a position. bobby ang On February 08, 2005 at 02:56:35, Tony Nichols wrote: > I am wondering if Fritz 9 will have a new GUI.
