Subject: why the serial number request at playchess.com?

I'm a registered owner of Shredder 8, and was always able to login at
playchess.com in the past. Now when I try to login, it asks for my serial
number. But it does no good enter it, because the "OK" button is grayed out on
that dialog box, so it won't let me enter it. It does no good if I'm already
logged in with "limited functionality", the serial number box doesn't work
correctly. So what's going on...?
