A couple of tests...

It won't let me create a new account then login with Shredder 8 either. The "OK"
button on the serial number entry box remains grayed out (inactive), so it can't
be entered.

However it still logs-in OK with my old Shredder 7 account which I haven't used
in over a year! It even offers to upgrade my Shredder 8 GUI thereafter, but
that's nonsense. I've previously downloaded and installed their #24, which is
what it offers to upgrade with, so that doesn't make sense.
