Sounds facinating :) I take it you'll be operating crafty on behalf of Dr. Hyatt in CC7? Mind if I ask what you recommend for buying a opteron box? (preferably dual or quad) I dont mind putting the box together myself. I've been searching around www.pricewatch.com myself trying to find the best deal. For my own research, a single Opteron will suffice at least for another 3-4 months while I do coding and optimization, but would like to get a dual or even quad eventually for tournament play... perhaps I should start with a dual so I can get a head start on the SMP coding.
