Well, you would probable beat me.

But, I don't think buying any program would help the chess ability in itself. It
is how you practice that counts.

I remember one story about a player who raised his playing strength with a lot
one year. What he did was to play through several Informator books from cover to
cover on a real board. Not any indepth analysis but just played through the
games. I bet he got alot more learning from the 500 games in the book than any
of us get from the 2 mil. games in the database.

I don't have CB8 and searched the CB site. There the first mention of CB 8 is
from the fall of year 2000.

Indeed I don't have CB9 neither but it is in house. My son got it to christmas
and have it installed on a laptop so I can check it out with easy when I want.
Especially I wanted to check this reportuare feature, but I saw some reports of
bug here in the latest update so I wait a bit before I take the time.
