Subject: Poor Game by Shredder 9 UCI

Author: James C. Logan

Here is an example game from a blitz (4' + 2"). ChessBase interface. I think I
used PowerBook 2004, but it is not the opening that gives us problems here. Not
a very good showing by S9. How does it move Qg4 on move 46?? Even with fast time
control, this is very unexpected. While one game tells us nothing, I do not feel
that I have chosen an isolated example.

Also note - when analyzing game afterwards, S9 UCI never considers this move.
While I am finding that S9 does an excellent job in "infinite analysis" mode, my
own opinion is that it is simply not suited to fast time controls. It seems my
results do not match others though ......
