Yes, to each his own, tastes differ. (*)
What I don't like is the sound of Boris so I have added DGT and CA's sound files
to the sound folder ( a little bit renaming are needed).

But looking a bit behind the scene there is much in plus for Chesspartner. Here
are my two top points:

1. It can take advantage of engines made with user controlled tuning etc. so an
amateur engine would feel like a nativ engine. Controlling personality,
weakening the engine etc. All could be made poping up in a dialogbox like you
are used to from Fritz. An example is ProDeo. There are some engines out there
that the author have put a lot of work into getting it to be a good sparring
partner. All these feature are hidden in a config file but with Chesspartner you
can get those feature into light for easy access.

2. It have scripting ability so you can make it do very advanced stuff, only
your imagination are the limit. As a sample could be: There was some talk here a
week ago about modifing Crafty to be able to give a evaluation in normal terms
and not only a score. Well if I would try to do this I would first try to write
an evaluator that could return evaluation like you find in Informator: 'bishop
pair', 'development advantage', etc. and then let you select your favourite
engine do the hard work and only call my evaluator on endpoints in variations to
try to explain why the score is +0.56.
Else is there anything you would like to change in the 'deep positional
analysis' in CB or CA? Just write a script to do what you want.

(*) I don't know if this is correct saying, it is so much better in Norwegian
(smaken er som ...).
