I think the seeders did a fine job with limited information; for instance my program doesn't play standard time control, so even I have no idea where it should be ranked. If I did have to rank it, I would have put it exactly where the seeders did. Anyway the tournament results are decided by who wins the most games, not by the initial seeding.
