Maybe there was a language issue here, and when the author was asked if the game
was drawn, he thought the question was, "Did the engines agree to a draw?",
whereas in your mind the question was "Was a draw the final result?"

Very important difference, and enough to screw everything up. Even if the author
and the TD were fluent in the same language this problem could occur...so I have
to wonder whether it might be even more likely where the author and TD have
different first languages.
