--The CB version of Shredder 9 comes on a CD, and is available only from
Chessbase and its distributors. It comes with a CB version of the Shredder 9
engine, and the CB/Fritz GUI. This same GUI comes with CB's releases of Fritz,
Shredder, Hiarcs, Junior, Tiger, etc., and the 7-8-9 GUI versions are very
similar. It does not include a UCI version of the Shredder 9 engine, nor the
Shredder Classic GUI.
--The Shredder 9 UCI version is only available from shredderchess.com by
download (no CD). It comes with the Shredder 9 UCI engine, and the Shredder
Classic GUI. It does not contain a CB version of the Shredder 9 engine. However
the UCI engine can be run in some of the Chessbase GUI's, those that accept UCI
engines.

My apologies in advance. I'm guessing or making assumptions in some cases. Also
I don't have several of the GUI's so am going on other reports. Please fill in
the blanks and correct my mistakes...! :)
