The Shredder 9 UCI engine works in Chess Assistant 8 and Chess Assistant 7. It is installed like any other UCI engine. Chess Assistant has an article which describes how to install Shredder in Chess Assistant. http://products.convekta.com/shredder_ca7/2/shredder_ca7.htm
