With the Chessbase version I get the strong engine, yet I am stuck in one interface. With the Shredder Classic 1.2 version, I get the strong engine, and a strong book, but I can't use the book in anything but that interface. I can't justify spending $70-75 CDN for either. Atleast with Fritz, Junior, Gandalf, Tiger, I know what I am getting and where I can use it. Stefan should have made the book available under both interfaces. Not just his own. With what he has now, both offered products are like getting half an orange at full price. I just won't do it. His program might be the strongest out, just not strong enough to grab the money from my wallet. To bad really. This will be the first version I have missed since version 3 that was Winboard compatible. Peter
