Ian This was one of the few chess computers I bought in the late 1980s/early 1990s. Somehow the attraction of the LCD screen and simultaneous games never was quite so good in practice. Or maybe I became distracted by PC chess. I still have it, of course, but more to the point I have another one which I got for free when Nick Wilson sold his collection. It is just the board, nothing else. I have just given it a quick test and it worked fine on batteries. Condition good apart from one scratch. You are welcome to it for free if you wish, and I can photocopy the manual to go with it. Let me know if you want it, I won't be offended if you wish to go for the Ebay one with box and pieces etc. In fact seeing you and Alain edge upwards 50p at a time could be entertaining. All the best Mike
