I'm a bit confused by your reasoning. If it's about the interface, then Fritz
and Co. have the same limitations. If it's about the book, then you already
missed out on Noomen's book for Tiger by buying the CB version. Anyhow, I plan
to buy the UCI version as I can use it freely within Chess Assistant which is
what interests me most. It's nice that the best engine around runs on my
favorite chess software, and for that alone SMK will get me tipped hat all the
way. I don't much care about the rest. If I really want to use it in the Fritz
interface I can always install it as a UCI engine.
