You mean that each of the 8 can be set at different personalities? And each
plays like the best level of computer chess of those days?

If so, I think that I would also like such a thing for practicing simultaneous,
and that there is no need to make a similar thing today, at todays computer
playing levels, AND, that Kasparov himself would not need something stronger to
practice against. Well? it COULD be done with improvements, I suppose. But even
that one from before 1990 is almost as valuable today as a similar thing if made
today. (for simultani practice)
