Since I was one of the beta testers of all three versions here is my opinion.
ChessTiger 2004 is the strongest, followed by Chess Tiger 15 followed by 14.

I know what the SSDF lists states but would hazard to guess that were you to
play versions 14 and 15 against the same opponents as 2004, then the difference
in rating would be seen more clearly.

See above answer. It is also true that others Shredder since IMO 6, Fritz in the
Deep versions and Gandalf have also got much better. But again IMO were Chess
Tiger 14 to now be tested against the same set of opponents as Chess Tiger 2004
you would see also that Tiger has made great improvements.

No endgame bug that I have ever known about. It is true that sometimes some odd
moves in endgames may come up but this is true of the majority of programs. I
think some time ago Kurt tested a lot of programs in endgames and Tiger came 2nd
ahead of Shredder IIRC.
