Do you can give an example of program DOS? Depending the program, this reply can be different. Normally, when we use programs DOS, we must load drivers, etc, in the area of superior memory(betwenn 640Kb and 1 Mb). For example, in the archive config.sys, in the place of DEVICE=C:\... we,put DEVICEHIGH=C:\... In the same archive, DOS=higth,umb places the system in the area of high memory(over 1Mb), with results more space in the conventional(first 640Kb),where DOS programs is running.
