Your suspicions are completely false, and I apologize if I gave out any
indication that it was a particular program that I was talking about.

Absolutely no intent was made by me to point a finger at any program, and I
honestly have not heard a single thing said about DanChess being a potential
clone.

Once again, my apologies if I gave any impression otherwise.... I truly was
speaking hypothetically, and also, as a side angle, attempting to get a handle
on this touchy topic since I am soon going to be moderator. Not having written
an engine (although having spent a great deal of time in the computer chess
world), I wanted as many different perspectives as I could get.
