Here's the date when I've downloaded, either via playchess.com (although it will no longer let me in!?), and/or from the open download link (now at http://www.fritzserver.org/updates/gui8.iup), and the number of bytes of the file... June 16, 2004 - 7,996,975 bytes January 11, 2005 - 7,996,975 bytes January 12, 2005 - 8,906,610 bytes February 4, 2005 - 8,906,602 bytes February 16, 2005 - 8,906,602 byte I downloaded the one today because there is a message in this forum below that says a new version has been released. But there's no difference in the number of bytes from my last one, so how can we know if we've got the right one? I could run it to find out, but I'd prefer to know beforehand and not mess with my installation unnecessarily, which is working OK. WP
