Uli, hi.  I don't think that it was Crafty that went down 20-0. I believe that
it was Bionic that lost :) That's why the question dealt with the possibility of
Bionic playing better under Winboard...

Perhaps I am wrong -- have no idea until the question is rephrased.

Anyway, I have no idea what went wrong. These two programs (or versions of one
and the same program) are very close in strength, with Bionic being definitely
better positionally and Crafty tactically.  And yes, I don't think that any
program can beat Crafty 20-0 at blitz, yet... At lightning (bullet) I know of
one that is close to it now :))
