I feel 1.0 is better than 0.8 . . I'm not sure how much (say 50 elo?).  Zappa
plays fast games adequately on my machine (64-bits), but on your machine it will
get some 200 knps so it needs time to get up 12 ply :)  There are no tournaments
at 25/30 minutes per game, so I don't worry about those timecontrols.  I work
more on adding knowledge than optimizing.
