I have been having trouble with error messages using Chessprogram8.exe. Each time I close the GUI I got an error message. I decided to un-install all Chessbase programs and start over. I'm now using the Apr 04 GUI with Fritz8/Hiarcs9/Junior9/Shredder8. All programs use the tablebases except Fritz 8. I'm running Fritz 8.0.0.23 as was the case before the re-install. The Chssbase.ini file in windows was never deleted and therefore still has the tablebase path correct. I have also used the "tools" menu to actually locate the TB files so there was no typo in the path. Still only Fritz 8 does not access tablebases. Any suggestions? Jim
