Well I have some older 6 man bases, and the new ones. Crafty takes a _long_ time
to start up, while Hiarcs is a close second (it doesn't support the newer
bases), yet Gandalf starts in the exact amount of time as it would with only 5
man bases.

Maybe because I have them all in one folder, it is seeing the two different 6
man bases, and is just not using them?
