hi jonas and uri,
this sound like the six of one,and a half a dozen of the other thing.
my expierience tells me to trust ruffian at 10 ply on my old 433 mhz,
over newer x2 boxes running different programs.
its all in the first 7-8 plys where you have to pack some punch.
uri,i believe you had mentioned this in a post a while back.
chessmaster is the premier example of this.
it may not be number one.
but it is the hardest program in the world to beat.
(not that i dont trust all the results posted by all the unbiased
contributors)
anyway the difference between blitz and long should be shrinking
as more newer boxes get online.
regards
mike
