The SOS clock is ticking down almost twice as fast as XP's Task Manager indicates as the total processor time it has used. For example, in a five minute blitz, the ARENA 1.1 SOS clock will indicate 01:00 left, but the Task Manager processor time indicates it has only used 2:30. This is a discrepancy of 1 minute 30 seconds. The result is time losses and time constraints. Other engines behave normally. The same effect is seen using System Internals Process explorer. Dave
