Hello. I find the archive search less than helpful so I'm asking a question that may well already be answered in past posts. I apologize and welcome pointers to how to use the CCC search function in a Google-like manner (i.e. "Shredder 8" custom parameter is the search I would like to enter, but the quotes seem to confuse the search function so I am limited to just "Shredder" without the quotes as my search). But I digress... I wish to make Shredder 8 more aggressive. Okay, there are lots of engine parameters to be adjusted, including setting the style to Aggressive, bumping up King Safety, etc. What I'm after is a set of parameter tweaks that produces an aggressive style (likes to sac pawns for initiative, often opens lines at the enemy king via sacrifices, etc.) that while these changes may weaken the engine a bit, do not weaken it tremendously; perhaps only a 50 ELO weakening of the engine's play. Does anyone know of such settings already? As I indicated, this may already be in past posts, so links to such settings are also appreciated. Thanks, Roy
