>I'm assuming that the program playing strength can be weakened down to my >pitiful level. oh sure many there are "fun" levels where the computer will toss in an occasinal blunder training levels where you can limit the search depth and of course you can disable the computers ability to think or ponder while you are on the move i myself disable pondering, limit the search depth to 1 ply, and use the lowest fun level(it tosses away its queen) i manage a hefty 10% winning percentage against it then :)) Steve
