What's the prce up to? A minimum confguration machine would land at about 520 USD excluding value added tax if I shop around. And going a bit upscale with PSU, casing and fan/cooling would add less than a hundred. Buying an Opteron workstation 2x244 would currently cost ~1550-1750 USD depending on extras.
