Alan: This is a very old question here, in this forum, but in fact it is equally old and worth of an examination in almost every niche available in the market. Why a new car, why a new PC, why a new this or that? Scarcely you can find one or two fields where a change for better has real sense. But we are made in such a weay that we bore very fast and so we need some extra stimulous to keep going on. New chess programs plays that role in a tiny part of our lives. Ferdinand II
