Your observation about the initial scores for Hiarcs 6 and Fritz 5 are generally correct, however I suggest you take into consideration two factors; (1) The hardware for all four programs is essentially identical so far (i.e., we have yet to see Hiarcs 7 rated with P2 400MHZ 128 ram configuration for example) and (2) each of these new software products are still to be tested against the broadest array of software/hardware configs that presentlyu have 2500 + ratings. I think after more testing you will see that these two programs (particularly Hiarcs 7) will hold their ratings. Furthermore, a Hiarcs 7 running on a P2 400 MHZ 128 ram machine would probably be rated in excess of 2650. Manuel Frank
