I don't have Shredder 9 so i can't test furhter from 20 ply. One important thing is with the amazing hardware power of Hydra, matches like this, in my opinion, are not fair at all...... I don't say that the result is not fair, but the conclusions are not, since simply we can't compare Shredder as a programmed entity, with Hydra as a programmed entity. Hardware differences makes the difference.......!
