Subject: New Feature on Mephisto Atlanta

I have recently purchased a Mephisto Atlanta and have found a new feature that I
have not seen on other dedicated (or software programmes for that matter).

Usually when a dedicated M/C plays its last opening book move it then waits for
your reply and then starts thinking.  The Atlanta however is thinking through
the opening book. So if a move is played which is not in book but the Atlanta
expected it you still get an instant reply because it was considering that move
as well. This can give it a bit of a head start and is a nice feature.

I must say I don’t often find a feature that I haven’t seen before.
