Some information about Gromits problem with the timecontrols: Old versions of Gromit lost on time when using the Fritz-Winboard-adapter because there is a difference between Fritz and Winboard that Gromit didn't respect. I will upload a (hopefully) fixed version this afternoon (in about 5 hours) to http://home.t-online.de/home/hobblefrank/index.htm The problem was like this: XBoard sends the command level moves time fischer only once when starting the game. Fritz sends (before every move) new ... all the moves ... level movesleft timeleft fischer When Gromit computed its time it used (moves-movesplayed), but if running under Fritz this was (movesleft-movesplayed)==(moves-2*movesplayed) and therefore Gromit often lost on time, thinking it had already reached the timecontrol. I'm short on time now therefore I have not tested if 'finish the whole game in n minutes' works. Frank
