Why state you are preparing for an event that you never registered for, and since the event is limited at 16 participants, could never _have_ registered for. When the excuse was given, there were 16 participants entered in the IPCCC. They were never planning on going to the tournament, and could not have registered for the event. It was full. Therefore it was an _outright_ lie. Are you now going to argue they simply forgot that it was full? I remember asking a few private/commercial program author's if they would allow an operator to run their program in the event when I was trying to fill an uneven participant level. Those that replied simply passed on the offer, or said there may not have been enough time to properly instruct an operator on how they would like it run. _None_ seemed to be afflicted with the sudden onset of a seizure due to Saturn and Mars being alligned. Ed I can understand you trying to stand up for them, but you sometimes have to admit when a spade is a spade. Peter
