most probably this statement is true for all time controls. For correspondance
there might be TEAMS which are better than Hydra (GM Nickel with engine help for
example), but as for a singel entity Hydra is probably the best. It beat
Shredder 8 which is a very strong program handily with 5-3 it took 3.5 out of 4
against Topalov, Ponomariov and Karjakin and it beat some grandmaster easily
with 3.5 - 0.5. And now it is going to win IPCCC5 in PAderborn. I think the
succes so far is impressive.
