I think the problem comes from the edit command, Pro Deo use setboard. But for
Winboard to use setboard you have to inform it of this.

Mayby may 'small' adapter help here (InBetween) with something like this:

[Client2Client]
protover 2 := feature done=0 setboard=1 done=1
