Hi, My question is simple: what are the chances that a "serious" chess program be written using a script language? I ask this question because I'm trying to write a chess program in "Euphoria" which is a "fast" script language with some interesting features that make it simple to learn and to use. This is my second attends. My goal is to write a chess program that plays at the amateur level but at a reasonable speed. Does anybody knows "Euphoria"?
