I am not sure if this is just meant to be an announcement of the tournament as
is or if you are looking for feedback. I'll assume the latter.

If I understand the tournament setup correctly your main interest is to get
human masters involved. But I think as is it doesn't look too attractive. To
rise the prize fond you need 50 paying participants as a start - is this
realistic? So are the prizes guaranteed - I would hate the idea that you end up
paying 1000$ out of your own pocket and maybe you are being too ambitious here.

I am also sceptical that you'll find many titled players interested in paying
the entry fee.

Also while I can understand your reasons for not limitting program users, they
make the field very unattractive. You'll end up with like 10 Shredders and 10
Fritzes - which human would be interested in taking part under these
circumstances?

I'd love to be more constructive but I don't have any good ideas to solve the
basic problems with your setup - maybe someone else will.

Peter
